All prices are in Danish Kroner (DKK), 25% VAT included. Tickets are always taxed with the local VAT of the event organizer.

We accept these payments options: Visa (credit and debit cards) MasterCard (credit and debit cards), American Express, Apple Pay and Bank transfer (in which case we send out invoice)

In the following the service provider will be named as “Nordicabc.com” and “we”, “us” and “our”.

Applicability of these Terms and Conditions

By using, visiting, or browsing our website, or by purchasing any of our products and services you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Cancellation policy

Purchases from nordicabc.com or Hundevenligverden.dk have a 14-day cancellation policy from the date when the order is placed. However, cancellations will not be accepted if the order is made less than 90 days before the event.

Once the 14 days are up, no changes can be made to the tickets, and there will be no refunds. The same rules applies to Payment Plans. You can resell your ticket if you so choose. If you resell your ticket to a third party, the contact details of the new participant are to be sent to Mally immediately or at least 30 days before the event.

In case you have requested a bank transfer, cancellations are only accepted in writing. Leaving an invoice unpaid does not count as a cancellation. The same cancellation policy applies here.

In case of the host itself cancel the event due to Covid-19 or other Pandemics or event that is out of the host's control, full refund will be made minus any fees that will not be refunded. Fees that are connected to Platforms used, Stripe and Squarespace.

Law and jurisdiction

Contracts for the purchase of products and services through our site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non- contractual disputes or claims) will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark.

Grant of limited license to use our products and services

Unless otherwise specified, the products and services, including any content viewed through our digital streaming and downloadable content, are for your personal use only, and we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for that purpose. Except for the foregoing limited license, no right, title or interest shall be transferred to you.

You may not download, modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, duplicate, publish, license, create derivative works from, or offer for sale any information contained on, or obtained from or through, our site, without our express written consent.

Organizers’ rights

In the unlikely event of an incident that prevents the event from taking place (independent of the Host), we reserve the right to make changes to the date and time of the event, and its associated activities, at least one week before the event. If this happens, we will notify the participants of the new details of the event, which will be organized within 15 months of the original event. If the event is cancelled by us, you have the right to attend the event in question when it has been rescheduled. If you do not have the opportunity to attend the new date, you have the right to get your money back.

We also reserve the right to make changes to the event with less than one week notice if there is a justified reason, such as unexpected issues with the location or government / municipal restrictions, or if a speaker is prevented from participating due to amongst others a medical emergency, cancelled or heavily delayed travel connections or restrictions by local or international officials. There are multiple speakers in events organised by us, and therefore individual changes to the list of speakers are possible.

Purchasing or assigning someone a ticket for any of our events automatically adds that individual’s email address to our newsletter database. By default, that individual will receive event information, company updates, and other relevant information.

By attending any of our events, you and the person assigned to use a ticket consent to be filmed and/ or photographed, and for your/their image and likeness to be used in our future promotional material without compensation.

Privacy policy

Personal information about those that buy a ticket to the conference will be stored, in order to be able to charge and send invoices. This information will never be sold or shared. After the conference all personal information will be deleted unless you also subscribe below. You have always the right to ask about the information we have stored about you, according to the General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR). As well as the right to have them deleted.

Only one person has access to all personal information, Mally Thorleifsdottir.

The personal information that we store are:

Billing address

Telephone number and any additional information you provide.

The website is hosted by squarespace.com and payments goes through stripe.com. Those that choose payments plans will be charged each month during the chosen period. Any questions can be sent to: Mally@Nordicabc.com

Delivery

You will receive your tickets in the e-mail that you provided at the time of purchase, immediately after registered payment.

Cookie Policy

At www.nordicabc.com cookies are used for the purpose of optimizing the website and its functionality, thus making the visit as easy as possible for you. You can delete cookies from your computer at any time. How, depends on your browser.

We use a log statistic, which means that a statistics system collects information that can give a statistical picture of how many visitors we have, where they come from and where on the website it is left, etc.

The log statistics are only used for the purpose of optimizing the website.

Rights of the data subject

Pursuant to the Personal Data Act and the EU Personal Data Regulation, the registered person has certain rights regarding the collected personal data about the person.


These rights are:

Right of access

You have, under certain circumstances, the right to insight into the data that we store about your person.

Right to correct data

You have the right to correct errors or omissions in the data that we process about you.

Right to delete

You have, under certain circumstances, the right to have personal information about your person deleted.

Please note that most legal processing of personal data is not covered by this right. If you have given consent to the processing of your personal data, you can withdraw your consent, thereby deleting related data.

Right to limited treatment

In certain cases, you have the right to suspend the processing of your personal data. This will apply if the accuracy of the data is doubted if you want a copy of illegally processed data and thus do not want these deleted, if you need longer storage of data than our purpose dictates or if you dispute the company's right to process your data and such a dispute is not settled.

Right to data portability

You have, in certain cases, the right to receive the personal data that we have collected about your person in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, if you want your personal data transferred to another data controller

Right of objection

You have the right, in certain cases, to object to the processing of your personal data. If you object to the processing of your data, these will no longer be processed, unless there are compelling legitimate reasons for this, or the processing is necessary for the determination or defense of a legal claim. If your data is processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you can object to it at any time, which means that such processing is stopped.

Exercise of rights

These rights follow from the EU Personal Data Regulation and/or local legislation.

These rights are not absolute rights, but rights you can exercise depending on how personal data is processed by us.

Insights and complaints

You have the right to be informed of the personal data we process about you. You can also object to the use of information at any time. You can also revoke your consent for information about you to be processed. If the information processed about you is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected or deleted. If you want to complain about our processing of your personal data, you also have the opportunity to contact the Danish Data Protection Agency.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

If changes are made to this Privacy Policy, an updated version will always appear and in that case will apply to our processing of your personal data. We recommend that you regularly review the privacy policy so that you are familiar with the current version.
